About RBD Samoyed
I started out in Chow Chows more than 20 years ago, with a pet dog I showed in obedience. I finished a number of obedience titles on my Chows before becoming interested in conformation. My first show quality Chow finished his championship so quickly I barely had time to enjoy showing him, and I was immediately hooked.
My interest later turned to Samoyeds—my first Sammy was born in 1999 and subsequently became an AKC Group Winner. Today, I concentrate on showing in conformation events. I have owned and shown numerous group placing and specialty-winning dogs. I spent numerous years studying pedigrees and the many wonderful aspects of Samoyeds before breeding my first litter in 2006. That litter, at less than 10 months old, has produced two pups that are well on the way to their championships, as well as satisfying companions who provide much love to their families.
All ethical breeders of Samoyeds breed not for money, but from a sincere desire to produce Samoyeds that are a credit to the breed, and they do so with the entire dog in mind--and by this I mean not only good looks, but solid health and loving temperament as well. If you are looking to add a Samoyed to your family, please be sure to do your research and learn the right questions to ask, to ensure you're purchasing a puppy from an ethical breeder.
